We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Fitter to join our growing team based in Morisset, NSW.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer of truck-mounted waste handling equipment, including Hook Loaders, Skip Loaders, and Rear Loading Compactors. The successful applicant will be involved in both new equipment builds and service, repair, and maintenance work across our customer fleet.

About the Role

The role will encompass a variety of workshop-based and field service activities, including:

· Installation and commissioning of hydraulic systems on new equipment builds

· Hydraulic hose and pipework fabrication and installation

· Fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of hydraulic systems

· Service and maintenance of Hook Loaders, Skip Loaders, and associated equipment

· Assembly and installation of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, and controls

· Reading and interpreting hydraulic schematics and engineering drawings

· Testing and commissioning completed equipment

· Working closely with fabrication, electrical, and production teams

While the role is primarily based at our Morisset facility, occasional travel may be required between our Morisset and Arndell Park workshops to support production and service requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

· Experience as a Hydraulic Fitter, Diesel Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, or similar trade qualification

· Proven experience working with Hook Loaders and Skip Loaders, or waste industry in general.

· Strong hydraulic fault-finding and diagnostic skills

· Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics

· Experience with heavy vehicle equipment or waste industry equipment (highly regarded)

· A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

· The ability to work independently and as part of a team

· A current driver's licence

· HR driver licence preferred not essential,
