We're seeking a casual grounds/maintenance officer to maintain the grounds and facilities in our beautiful communities located in the Hunter Valley. The role is for 15- 20 hours per week, no weekends and rosters will be given 2 weeks in advance.

We currently have an opportunity for an exceptional casual  Maintenance/Grounds Officer to join our team. This role involves maintaining the grounds and facilities in our beautiful communities located in the Hunter Valley.

About the Role:   

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance/Grounds Officer, the role will involve general maintenance jobs, grounds duties including gardening, outdoor cleaning, swimming pool maintenance, following a regular schedule, and the ability to interact with our residents. 

Reporting to Community Management, you will assist in our commitment to ensure the facilities are well maintained and the presentation is always excellent. You will take pride in your work and enjoy working in an environment where structure, time-management and pride in you work and customer service is key. Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Lawn mowing and edging

• Hedge trimming and pruning

• Watering and irrigation installation and repair

• Treating trees and plants for pests and disease

• Weed control

• Soft landscaping such as mulching, planting and garden edging installation etc.

• Leaf blowing

• General repairs and maintenance of community facilities

• Event setup and pack down

• Pool monitoring and cleaning 

• Outdoor facility cleaning.
