About Us:
Aquastars Swim School is a boutique privately owned indoor heated Swim School located in Warners Bay. Our School has been operating since 2005 and continually experiencing exponential growth. We teach anyone who would like to learn how to swim and survive in the water, ranging from 6-month-old children all the way to adults.
At Aquastars Swim School & Fitness, we are dedicated to promoting water safety, physical fitness, and fun through our swimming programs. We are looking for passionate and dynamic individuals to join our team. As a Learn to Swim Instructor and Customer Service Officer, you will play a key role in creating a positive experience for our clients, both in the pool and at the front desk.
Please note this is a dual role - we are looking for applicants to work in both departments!

Learn to Swim Instructor

Responsibilities:

  • Teach swimming lessons to individuals of various skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers.

  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable learning environment for all participants.

  • Develop lesson plans and modify them based on each student's progress and needs.

  • Monitor swimmers' progress and provide feedback to improve their skills.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised pool area.

  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress.

  • Adhere to safety and emergency protocols.

Requirements:

  • Certification in Learn to Swim instruction or equivalent (e.g., AUSTSWIM, Swim Australia).

  • Previous experience in teaching swimming or similar roles is desirable.

  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for working with children and adults.

  • Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.

  • First Aid and CPR & Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

  • Working with Children Check must be obtained before commencing employment.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.


Customer Service Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.

  • Provide information about swim programs, class schedules, and pricing.

  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.

  • Process bookings, payments, and membership renewals.

  • Maintain a clean, organised front desk and reception area.

  • Assist with administrative duties, including record keeping and database management.

  • Promote swimming programs and memberships to prospective clients.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service or administrative roles is preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.

  • Proficient in basic computer programs (e.g., MS Office, booking software).

  • A positive, customer-focused attitude.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
