About the Role
Kurri Kurri Bowling Club is seeking an enthusiastic and community-focused Bowls & Sports Coordinator to lead the promotion, development and growth of bowls and other sporting programs.

This diverse role combines sports administration, events, membership growth, sponsorship and community engagement. You will work closely with members, volunteers, sponsors and local organisations to increase participation, strengthen community connections and enhance the Club's sporting offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate bowls competitions, tournaments, social events and other sporting activities.
  • Grow membership and participation across the Club's sporting programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with members, sponsors and community groups.
  • Coordinate sporting events, promotions and member communications.
  • Identify and manage sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
  • Provide administration, reporting and operational support.
  • Assist with major Club events and broader Club activities.
About You

You are a proactive and organised professional with strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Ideally, you will have:
  • Experience in sports administration, hospitality, community organisations or membership-based environments.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Experience coordinating events, programs or community activities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong computer skills and confidence using digital communication platforms.
  • Current RSA, RCG and Driver Licence (or willingness to obtain).
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
