We are HSR Southern Cross, a leader in Truck Mounted Waste Equipment Manufacturing committed to delivering exceptional products and services to our customers. As part of our continued growth, we're looking for a creative and driven Social Media Content Creator / Marketing Coordinator to join our team and elevate our digital presence.

The Role

This is a Full-time position (40 hours per week/5 days) located in both our Arndell Park & Morisset sites (60% Morisset, 20% Arndell Park) with the potential for additional hours as the role develops, or events are available. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will take charge of crafting, implementing, and managing impactful social media and marketing content. You’ll be at the forefront of driving brand awareness, engaging audiences, and fostering growth through innovative digital strategies. Along with identifying & executing our attendance or inclusion in local and interstate conferences / trade shows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.

  • Create high-quality, visually appealing content including graphics, videos, and written posts.

  • Plan and manage social media advertising campaigns to optimise reach and performance.

  • Monitor engagement and respond to comments, messages, and enquiries professionally and promptly.

  • Collaborate with internal teams on promotional events, partnerships, and campaigns.

  • Drive email marketing campaigns to enhance customer engagement.

  • Analyse performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite, delivering actionable insights.

  • Stay ahead of emerging trends, ensuring our brand remains innovative and relevant.

  • Occasionally attend trade shows, events, and promotional activities.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is creative, organised, and ready to take our digital marketing to the next level.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven expertise in social media marketing, content creation, and digital advertising.

  • Proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Trello and video editing software.

  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines.

  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and performance reporting.

  • A proactive approach to identifying trends and opportunities.

  • Flexibility to travel occasionally for events and trade shows.

  • Flexible part-time hours with the potential for growth into more hours
