Southern Cross Fitness Store, one of Australia’s leading fitness equipment suppliers, is expanding and seeking a motivated and versatile full-time team member to join our growing business. This is a unique hybrid role that offers variety and challenge every day, combining gym equipment delivery and installation, servicing, diagnostics, and warehouse support & Logistics. Primary Key Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Operations: Majority of the role - Unloading containers, moving stock, conducting stocktake, managing stock control, receiving and dispatching goods.

Responsibilities:

• Delivery & Installation: Loading vehicles, driving to customer locations, installing gym equipment in both residential and commercial settings.

• Gym Equipment Servicing: Diagnosing issues with gym equipment, installing new parts, resolving problems, and performing general maintenance tasks.

• Flooring: Laying and cutting rubber flooring for gym installations.

• Customer Service: Providing exceptional service to clients, including taking photos of installations for our marketing team.

• Flexibility & Teamwork: Adapting to varying work hours, and working both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Full Driver’s License (Essential)

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent literacy and computer skills

• An energetic personality and ability to work in a physically demanding environment

• Fit and capable of heavy lifting with no previous injuries

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Flexibility with work hours

• Experience in warehousing and flat-pack installations

• A high level of responsibility, and strong work ethic

• Ability to adapt to change and overcome challenges

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Forklift License (or willingness to obtain one)

• Experience in building gym equipment or similar

• Warehouse/Logistics knowledge

• Mechanical or electrical knowledge (preferred)

Capabilities:

• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team

• Comfortable working under pressure to meet deadlines

• Driven, eager to learn, and motivated to grow in the role
