We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives, strengthen customer partnerships, and expand our presence across the Australian energy market. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic business development professional with strong market knowledge and an established network within the energy or renewables sector. About The Role The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth across Ampcontrol’s energy portfolio through market analysis, strategic business development, customer engagement, and pipeline management. Working closely with customers and internal teams, you will identify opportunities, develop market strategies, and deliver solutions that strengthen Ampcontrol’s market position and support sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities Identify, develop, and secure sales opportunities aligned with growth objectivesDevelop and execute go-to-market strategies across energy sectorsBuild customer relationships and expand market share through new business opportunitiesMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategyCollaborate across teams to deliver customer-focused solutionsManage budgets, forecasts, CRM reporting, and pipeline performanceDeliver presentations, proposals, and represent Ampcontrol at customer and industry events About You You are a commercially driven business development professional with strong relationship-building skills and a solid understanding of the energy market. Skills & Experience Qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business, or relevant industry experienceStrong commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsExperience in business development, customer engagement, and sales strategyExisting network within the Australian energy or renewables sectorProficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systemsCurrent Driver’s Licence Regular travel to customer sites, Ampcontrol locations, and industry events is required.
