As we continue to grow across the Newcastle, Hunter and Central Coast regions, we are seeking an experienced Training Coordinator to join our team.
About the Role
This position is central to ensuring high‑quality training delivery across multiple programs and regions. The role coordinates courses, supports students and employers, and promotes products and services. It also provides day‑to‑day supervision and support to trainers and administration staff.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery Coordination
Promote products and services
Coordinate training calendars, timetables and delivery schedules
Ensure training aligns with delivery plans and internal quality expectations including WHS requirements
Coordination & Support of Trainers and Administration
Supervising trainers and administration staff to ensure consistent workflow, effective communication and service excellence
Provide a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, resolving issues early and escalating where required.
Monitoring daily administration processes
Student Progress, Outcomes and Support
Monitor enrolments and student progression
Identify risks to student progression and coordinate timely interventions and support
Collect and review feedback from students
Employer & Industry Engagement
Act as a key point of contact for employers
Coordinate work placements
Capture employer feedback and maintain industry consultation records
Compliance, Reporting and Systems
Maintain accurate student records
Contribute to RTO compliance reporting
Assist with internal audits
Financial Integrity
Monitor Smart and Skilled claims, invoices and income tracking
Deliver training programs in line with financial projections
Essential
Experience working within a Registered Training Organisation
Experience in coordinating training delivery across multiple programs
Strong administrative and systems capability with high attention to detail
Clear, confident communication and strong customer service orientation
Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain workflow
Excellent organisation and time‑management skills
Current driver’s licence
Desirable
Understanding of the NSW Smart and Skilled initiative
Experience coordinating traineeships or apprenticeships
Knowledge of school‑based traineeship arrangements
Confidence supporting business development and promotion of training services
