About the role

Club Macquarie is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Club Supervisor to join our team in a hands on role. This is a Full-time role, or it can be Part-time. You will provide critical leadership and support to our Club Operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and an exceptional customer experience for our Members and Guests.

Duties include but not limited to:

  1. Assist in the coordination of the daily operations of the Club, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, procedures and regulations.

  2. Provide excellent customer service, liaising with Members and Guests to address their needs and resolve any issues that may arise.

  3. Assist with the overseeing and coordination of Club events and functions, working collaboratively with other team members including the Functions Manager and Head Chef.

  4. Competency in working and overseeing all areas of operations, including Bar, Cellar, Bistro, Gaming, Tab and Keno.

  5. Ensure a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons, adhering to all Health and Safety guidelines.

  6. Effectively communicate with the Management team both written and verbal when required.

  7. Opening and Closing of the Club, securing all areas and directing Security Staff when required.

What we're looking for

  1. Experience in a Supervisory or Duty Manager role within the Hospitality or Club industry (Minimum of 2 years experience), preferred.

  2. Broad knowledge of all Club Operations, including Gaming, Tab, Keno, Cellar, Food and Beverage, including relevant regulations.

  3. Accuracy in Cash Handling with Opening and End of shift/ Safe reconciliation preferred.

  4. Excellent customer service delivery and the ability to foster a positive, welcoming atmosphere.

  5. Keen eye for detail.

  6. Availability to work a 7day rotating roster including weekends and public holidays, (penalty rates apply).

  7. Confident and engaging personality.

  8. ARCG (Advanced responsible conduct of gaming) certification is preferred or prepared to obtain. minimum of RCG certification is required.

  9. RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification is required.

  10. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of customers.

  11. Ability and confidence to conduct and oversee promotional activities.

  12. Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.

  13. Current drivers license and reliable transportation.

  14. Australian work rights are required for this position
