Rutherford residents have called The Rutherford Hotel their favourite local for over 150 years.

​​The intimate environment, backed by the fantastic team of dedicated professionals, help create a unique and welcoming atmosphere.

​We are looking for a Duty Manager to join and lead our front of house team.

Working closely with the General Manager you will:

Assist in the leading of day-to-day operations across the venue. You will manage a talented and dedicated team during your shift, including providing exceptional levels of customer service as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with the local community.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the venue is well-presented and welcoming for all our patrons.
  • Planning and preparing all operational requirements for the consistent delivery of customer service.
  • Opening or closing the venue.
  • Monitoring and managing all RSA, RCG and WHS responsibilities in the venue, resolving or escalating incidents or concerns as necessary.

About you

  • Established leadership skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with POS systems.
  • A collaborative approach with management.
  • A keen eye for the detail.
  • Strong reporting and communication skills.
  • NSW RSA and RGC.
  • Have working rights in Australia.
