Welcome to Punthill Maitland!

Recently opened in the heart of High Street in Maitland, our 76 key apartment hotel is the first new hotel in a decade for the area, bringing a boutique approach to hospitality to the area. As our team grows, we're looking for an additional housekeeper to provide a high standard of cleaning to maintain the presentation of our property.

• 76 apartments catering to both the corporate and leisure travel markets

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you’ll be part of a small team of genuine people, looking to create lasting memories and exceptional experiences for each and every guest.

• Maintain common areas to brand standards
• Build strong and authentic relationships with your teammates and our guests
• Guest room in-stay & departure cleans to a high standard
• Ensure that the efficiency and quality of cleans meet hotel benchmarks
• Provide feedback on hotel common area condition to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Hotel Manager, particularly in terms of areas that require deep clean, repairs or replacement to maintain hotel standards

About You

We work in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same, so we’re looking for people who are adaptable, enjoy variety and operate with an ownership mindset.

The successful person must have:

• Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights)
• Attention to detail, organisational skills and high standards of cleanliness 
• Flexibility to work at least 3 shifts a week (primarily morning / day shifts) including weekends & public holidays 
• Ability to work as a team & also independently
