Job Description

Job Title: Occupational Therapist (Neurodiversity-Affirming) Summary We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for an outreach-only (or outreach and telehealth) position. You will work within school environments during term time to support student participation and regulation.

We provide robust supervision and a supportive team culture dedicated to inclusive, accessible, and neurodiversity-affirming care. Responsibilities Assessments: Complete functional and sensory assessments, prioritizing the unique strengths and needs of each student.

Intervention: Design and deliver plans to support participation, regulation, and skill development in school contexts. Collaboration: Work alongside educators and families to facilitate student inclusion and environmental access. Consultation: Provide training to school staff regarding sensory processing, environmental adaptations, and affirming approaches.

Documentation: Ensure all clinical documentation meets organizational and regulatory standards. Growth: Actively engage in supervision and team-based learning to ensure continuous quality improvement. Qualifications

Education: Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy. Registration: Current registration with AHPRA . Experience: Minimum 2 years’ clinical experience (outreach experience preferred).
