We are a new start-up surgical eye practice situated only in only one location seeing to build an energetic new team focused on looking after each other and our patients. Prior experience in the ophthalmic/medical industry is preferred for application. A part or full time work schedule is preferred. Work Schedule & Locations

- You will be based at Charlestown for all your work days, making travelling to and from work more predictable and convenient


Specific job responsibilities:

I) Clinical Technician/ Orthoptist

- Welcome and prepare patients for consultations

- Conduct a vision assessment and intraocular pressure testing

- Capture images using specialised ophthalmic cameras and equipment

- Work closely with the Ophthalmologists and clinic staff to ensure smooth operations


II) Medical Receptionist

- You are the welcoming first point of contact for patients, families and visitors, both in person and over the phone.

- Manage appointments, phone calls, messages and general enquiries in a friendly and professional manner.

- Process billing, payments and Medicare claims accurately, and assist with account enquiries.
