Pharmacy Technician (Grade 2 / Grade 3)

Positions available: Permanent Full-Time

Salary Classification:  Pharmacy Technician Grade 2 Yr 1-4 to Grade 3 Year 1-3

Remuneration: $37.71 to $45.51 per hour + super + annual leave loading

 

As a Pharmacy Technician you will be responsible for providing the Pharmacy Department’s technical support across the full range of pharmacy services provided by the Calvary Mater Newcastle Pharmacy including the sterile manufacturing of chemotherapy drugs.

Selection criteria

• Successful completion of nationally recognised Pharmacy Technician Certificate IV, or has qualifications deemed equivalent by the employer.

• Relevant experience as a Pharmacy Technician with a high level of competency.

• Demonstrated ability to work productively and effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Well-developed communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

• Demonstrated attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality of work.
