We are seeking passionate Registered Nurses to work in our Cardiff Heights aged care facility, Groves House, on our night shifts.
As a Registered Nurse, you will:
Provide holistic, safe and quality care to our residents, consistent with our Mission, and Values.
Assist our residents to live an active and meaningful life as independently as possible.
Oversee care planning for residents.
Support and mentor care staff, ensuring compliance with best practice and regulatory requirements.
Be a team-player with excellent communication skills with the ability to contribute to and inspire a team in the delivery of person-centred care.
Liaise with care staff, family members, doctors and the management team ensure residents’ health, safety, and comfort.
Have excellent reporting skills to complete compulsory reporting, progress notes and incident reporting, while maintaining all policies and procedures that are in place.
To be considered you will have:
Availability to work permanent part-time, 7 nights per fortnight.
Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration as a Registered Nurse.
2 years previous experience minimum as a Registered Nurse. Experience in an aged care environment is preferred, however not essential.
Experience in the accreditation process.
Understanding of continuous quality improvement.
Demonstrated experience multi-tasking and problem-solving skills to resolve any issues relating to the provision of clinical and care service.
Good understanding of AN-ACC and Care Assessment Plans.
Experience in Aged Care accreditation and the clinical standards, dementia and challenging behaviours.
Compassion and a genuine interest in caring for the elderly, supporting their dignity, choices and independence.
Be cleared in the Aged Care Banning Order register.
Proof of work rights in Australia.
Up to date immunization including influenza and Covid 19.
Willingness to undertake a psychometric skills assessment.
Cleared Police Check.
