Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join the Newcastle team.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer who enjoys working across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects while taking ownership of project delivery and client outcomes.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the planning, design and delivery of transport, civil and infrastructure projects while supporting project management activities, stakeholder engagement and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver multidisciplinary civil engineering projects from concept through to delivery
  • Undertake civil design activities including earthworks, drainage, stormwater, roads, highways and utilities infrastructure
  • Coordinate project activities and support client engagement throughout the project lifecycle
  • Attend site visits and collaborate with contractors and delivery teams
  • Manage project budgets, schedules and quality requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
  • Work closely with internal specialists and external stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes

About You

  • Degree qualified Civil Engineer with experience in a multidisciplinary engineering environment
  • Strong experience delivering civil infrastructure, transport, highways, utilities or renewable energy projects
  • Knowledge of drainage, stormwater management, site development and civil infrastructure design
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules and deliverables
  • Ability to lead small project teams and contribute to mentoring junior engineers
  • Collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering outcomes
