About the role

Omnia Wheel is seeking a talented Mechatronic Engineer to join our engineering team on a full-time basis at our facility in Beresfield, NSW. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge conveyor systems, robotics applications, and motorized omni-directional wheel technologies that are used by customers around the world.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

• Demonstrated experience in mechatronic systems design and development, with proficiency in both mechanical and electronic engineering principles

• Solid understanding of control systems, automation and embedded electronics as applied to industrial equipment or products

• Proficiency in 3D CAD modelling and design, preferably using SolidWorks

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex technical challenges and develop practical solutions

• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting technical information clearly to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders

• Project management within a product development environment

• Must have Australian work rights and be eligible to work in Australia without sponsorship
