Our Opportunity

Due to continuous growth, we are currently seeking a talented Project Coordinator to join our project team to deliver a pipeline of electrical projects including transportable substations, switch rooms and conveyor systems. This is a full-time permanent position based in our Thornton, NSW office.

Your duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Working with an experienced, high performing team to deliver varied and challenging projects across multiple industries including mining, green energy, infrastructure and agriculture industries,
  • Planning and coordination with engineering, purchasing, subcontractors, production and test teams,
  • Assist Project managers with the development of detailed work breakdown structures and resource plans and project schedules,
  • Monitor and control resources and works against the plan, reporting on progress and deviations,
  • Proactively Identify and resolve material flow issues with production teams.

The Right Person

As a Project Coordinator at NEPEAN Power, you will have a supportive and consultative approach and strive to execute on time. The ideal candidate will also have:  

  • Have or working towards tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or Electrical/Mechanical Trade Qualifications (preferred).
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in a position that requires a consultative approach and stakeholder management.  
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and problem solving.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to get things done.
