About the opportunity

Due to our accelerated growth strategy, we are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated maintenance technician based in our Newcastle office. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a high-profile brand supplying products and services to government, civil, commercial, industrial, and domestic building sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for the scheduled preventative maintenance and diagnose and troubleshoot any urgent outages of our solar powered technology-based security cameras and solutions throughout the greater Newcastle, Central Coast, and Hunter Valley regions.

This a field based position with a fully maintained service van provided, offering variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work with innovative technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance of our solar powered cameras

• Diagnose and troubleshoot urgent faults

• Repair and replace system components including, solar panels, batteries, and communication equipment

• Providing exceptional service to existing client base

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in field service, electrical, telecommunications, or security systems maintenance

• Strong fault finding and problem solving skills

• A high regard for safety and following established procedures

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage your schedule

• HR or MR truck licence is desirable

• Forklift licence (LF) is desirable

• Previous experience with electrical and solar components

• Security licence advantageous, or ability to obtain:
  Requires a National Police Check, NSW driver's licence, and you need to be an Australian/New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a visa to work in Australia (not including student or working holiday visa)
