Morton Civil Contractors are a reputable mid-tier civil construction contractor with well-established connections in the construction and infrastructure industries. Morton Civil Contractors are seeking operators with at least 3 years’ experience and refined operating skills in plant including Excavators, Dozers, Graders and other ancillary equipment.

Due to the nature of the role, you may be required to work away from home on a regular basis but will be compensated accordingly. The work is generally Monday - Friday (with the occasional Saturday) and not roster based.

To be successful you will:

  • Have at least 3 years’ demonstrable experience in the civil construction industry

  • Be confident operating 5-70 tonne machinery

  • Ability to work away from home

  • Be able to comprehend and follow instructions

  • Be able to meet deadlines

  • Be able to work as part of a team

  • Hold current VOC's (RII Competency)

  • Hold and maintain a current driver’s licence (Class C)

  • Have a WHS General Construction Induction card

Applicants with multiple plant VOC’s, final trim and or GPS/UTS experience will be considered favourably.
