We are seeking experienced plant operators to join our team for an immediate start working onsite in Regional NSW asbestos removal projects. The role involves Operation of Plant, safe removal handling, and disposal of asbestos materials while maintaining strict safety and compliance standards in regional NSW.

  • Grader operator

  • Dozer operator

  • Roller operator

  • Moxy operator

Duties

  • Operate plant, machinery, tools, and vehicles as directed

  • Carry out labouring and general site duties as required

  • Attend daily toolbox meetings

  • Complete daily pre-start checks for plant and equipment

  • Perform basic maintenance in accordance with procedures

  • Comply with all safe work procedures and site inductions

  • Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements

  • Assist with other site duties as needed

  • Proven experience on Infrastructure Projects, Roads & Highways, civil, mining, or resource projects, or in maintenance operations

  • Proven experience in civil, mining, or resource projects, or in maintenance operations

  • Removal of friable and non-friable asbestos

  • Site preparation including containment and decontamination setup

  • Safe handling, bagging and disposal of asbestos waste

  • Follow SWMS, asbestos removal control plans and safety procedures

  • Use of PPE and respiratory protection equipment

  • Training available to the right applicants.

Requirements

  • Current RII / Vocs qualifications for Plant/Machinery.

  • Must Hold both Class A and/or Class B Asbestos Removal Tickets

  • White Card

  • Previous asbestos removal experience preferred

  • Driver's licence (& Own Car Preferred)

  • Strong commitment to workplace safety

  • Must have full Australian work rights

  • Mandatory Alcohol & Drug Testing Required

You will be required to perform Manual / Physical labour on Live worksites performing a wide range of duties Removing Asbestos, Assisting Trades, Carrying / Loading Materials / Working Around Heavy Machinery / Site Clean Up / Using Hand Tools Etc.

Applicants must be fit for Physical Work, Punctual & Have a Strong Work Ethic.

Experience in the Construction Industry and Asbestos Removal Training / Experience is necessary.

The successful Applicant will be required to have;

  • OH & S Construction Industry White Card.

  • Drivers Licence & Must Have Own Transport.

  • Class A Asbestos Removal CPCCDE3015

  • Class B Asbestos Removal CPCCDE3014

  • RII - VOCs for Plant.

  • Must be physically Fit, Honest, Punctual, Reliable & Attend Medical.

  • Be Willing to Travel/ Overnight Stays and Work Overtime if Required.

  • Work Within a Team Environment.

  • Have a Strong Work Ethic and Attention to Detail, With a strong Approach to Occupational Work Health & Safety Procedures.

  • Applicants will also be considered with their own ABN & Tools (Contractors).
