We are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead a civil construction and road works crew on a long-term temporary assignment through to March 2027 in the Dungog Shire region.

About the Role

Working closely with the infrastructure team, you will be responsible for supervising a small crew of 3–4 staff, as well as coordinating contractors across a variety of civil construction, road maintenance, and infrastructure projects.

With a strong pipeline of upcoming works, this role will play a key part in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of civil construction and road works crews.

  • Coordinate and oversee contractors on-site.

  • Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with specifications.

  • Monitor project progress and assist with scheduling and resource allocation.

  • Conduct site inspections and maintain compliance with WHS requirements.

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors, and project personnel.

  • Complete relevant reporting and project documentation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience supervising civil construction, road maintenance, or infrastructure projects.

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage small teams.

  • Experience coordinating contractors and site activities.

  • Sound understanding of WHS legislation and safe work practices.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Current Driver Licence.

What's on Offer

  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday.

  • Standard working hours of 6:30am – 4:30pm.
