Ready to be a part of a behaviour support team that'll make you excited to go to work? Hit apply, this team is growing, energised, and genuinely lovely to work with.
  • Choose your flavour: fully therapeutic BSP or step into a more senior, supervisory/mentor-style role
  • Mostly school-aged caseload (hello schools!), with the option to see more adults if that’s your preference
  • Run your own schedule, autonomy is the default, not a “maybe one day” promise
  • Join a thriving MDT: work alongside 5 BSPs plus Psychologists, with support from a top BSP manager
  • Realistic expectations: approx. 25 service hours/week (no pressure-cooker KPIs)
  • Professional development is backed, encouraged, and celebrated (not just “mentioned in the interview”)
  • Bonus brownie points if you bring OT / Speech / Social Work experience as capacity building focus welcomed
This is a purpose-driven private practice-style environment based in Newcastle, designed for clinicians who want a supportive home base and the freedom to work in the ways that suit them best.

The Behaviour Support team is in growth-mode (in the best way), meaning you’ll have opportunity, variety, and a voice in shaping how things evolve. You’ll be surrounded by people who are warm, capable, and keen to collaborate and if you’re more experienced, there’s genuine scope to guide and uplift others while still keeping your own clinical work rewarding.

Your Duties will Include
  • Deliver high-quality behaviour support to a diverse client base (mostly school-aged, adult options available).
  • Complete assessments, behaviour support plans, reviews and reports, meeting a KPI of ~25 service hours weekly.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, with scope to supervise/mentor other BSPs if you’re senior.
  • Work out a clinic in Newcastle, servicing the surrounding Hunter region via clinic, schools, community and telehealth.
Requirements/ Skills
  • Experience providing behaviour support services within an NDIS-aligned setting.
  • Confidence working with school-aged clients (adult caseload optional based on your interests).
  • Core/Proficient/Advanced BSP capability level + NDIS suitability (or ability to obtain).
  • Full Australian Work Rights
