The Role – Control Systems Engineer

As our Control Systems Engineer, you’ll collaborate with a team of skilled engineers and technicians to design, develop, and commission control systems that meet the highest technical and safety standards. This role offers exposure across engineering, workshop, and site environments, with strong customer interaction.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Design, configure, and commission PLC, SCADA, and VVVF drive systems
  • Produce accurate, compliant engineering documentation
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve technical challenges
  • Manage engineering deliverables, project progress, and associated costs
  • Identify opportunities for standardisation and support digitalisation initiatives
  • Uphold and promote WHS standards, identifying and reporting hazards

Who We’re Looking For

You’re a technically capable engineer with a solid automation background and a proactive, problem?solving mindset. You’re organised, detail?driven, and comfortable working in fast?paced project environments.

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Electrical trade or engineering qualification
  • Experience in PLC & SCADA software development, commissioning, and fault?finding
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and time?management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal capability
  • Familiarity with systems such as Jira, Tempo, and Microsoft applications
  • A safety?first attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement
