Data Entry / Bookkeeper (Entry Level)
6-Month Maternity Leave Contract

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry / Bookkeeper to join our team on a 6-month maternity leave contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in bookkeeping and administration while working in a supportive and friendly environment.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day bookkeeping and administrative tasks, ensuring accurate record keeping and data management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data entry of invoices, receipts, and financial transactions

  • Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • Reconciling bank statements and supplier accounts

  • Maintaining accurate financial and customer records

  • Filing and document management

  • General administrative support as required

About You

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Previous experience using accounting software such as Xero (desirable, not essential)
