Administration Officer – Payroll, Accounts Payable, HR & Maintenance Administration

Location: Cameron Park or Singleton Office

Entire Concrete is a leading independent ready-mix concrete supplier servicing Newcastle, the Hunter Valley and surrounding regions. We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Administration Officer to join our team in a diverse role encompassing payroll, accounts payable, human resources and maintenance administration.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled administrator who enjoys variety, has strong attention to detail, and is confident working across multiple business functions.

About the Role

Reporting to management, your responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately processing weekly payroll accurately and on time

  • Completing the final review and preparation of accounts payable for payment, including verifying invoice accuracy, tax codes, account allocations and supporting documentation.

  • HR administration, including onboarding, inductions, training records and personnel files using our employment platform HERO

  • Supporting performance management and compliance processes

  • Utilize our maintenance management software to create preventative maintenance schedules, monitor work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records.

  • Coordinate maintenance activities, including raising purchase orders for parts and supplies, scheduling work and liaising with suppliers and internal personnel.

  • Providing general administrative support across the business

About You

The successful applicant will possess:

  • Previous experience in payroll, accounts payable and administration

  • Experience in HR administration or a strong understanding of HR processes

  • Proficiency in MYOB

  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • The ability to manage confidential information professionally

  • A proactive, positive and team-focused attitude

Desirable

  • Experience within the construction, manufacturing, transport or industrial sectors

  • Experience with payroll legislation, awards and employment compliance

  • Experience with maintenance management software or asset management systems
