What to Expect as a Finance Trainee

  • Earn while you learn in a full-time traineeship

  • Gain a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business (BSB30120)

  • Build practical, in-demand skills across payroll, accounts, and finance administration

  • Develop valuable workplace and customer service skills

Responsibilities Include

  • Assisting with payroll processing and maintaining accurate employee records

  • Learning payroll compliance requirements, including awards, agreements, and relevant legislation

  • Responding to payroll and finance queries in a professional and timely manner

  • Supporting the finance team with reporting, reconciliations, and general administrations tasks

  • Assisting with data entry and maintaining confidentiality of financial information

  • Building knowledge of finance systems, processes, and workplace procedures

About You

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Reliable, organised and motivated

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Basic computer skills (Excel/Word or similar)

  • Good communication and teamwork skills
