We're a family-owned and operated Lake Macquarie business that has been supplying PPE, workwear, safety equipment and safety solutions to the mining, construction and industrial sectors for over 35 years.

We're seeking an energetic, organised and customer-focused person to join our Cardiff team in Customer Service & Sales Support.

This full-time Monday to Friday role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping people and can stay organised while juggling multiple tasks.

You don't need experience in the safety industry—we can teach you that. What we're really looking for is a positive attitude, strong computer skills, good common sense and a willingness to learn.

About the Role

This is a varied role where no two days are the same.

You'll be responsible for -

• Assisting customers over the phone, email and at the counter
• Invoicing, freight coordination and general administration tasks
• Processing customer orders and quotations
• Supporting our internal and external sales teams
• Following up orders and backorders
• Creating and managing customer portal logins
• Supporting our warehouse and operations teams
• Learning about PPE, workwear and safety products
• Helping ensure our customers receive the outstanding service Maddison Safety is known for

What We're Looking For

The right person will have

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Good organisation and attention to detail
• Common sense and the ability to think on their feet
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong time management skills and initiative

Experience in hospitality, retail, administration or customer service will be highly regarded.
