ADE Power is a specialist manufacturer of modular generator enclosures and electrical switch rooms supporting data centres, mining, and critical power infrastructure. Based in the Hunter region, we design and build high-quality, engineered solutions that protect and support mission-critical power systems.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administration Officer to join our busy and dynamic team at ADE Power. This is a varied role that plays a critical part in supporting our workshop, operations, and finance functions.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide essential administrative and operational support across the business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across multiple functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage company documentation and filing systems to support compliance and operational efficiency

  • Provide administration and sales support to Workshop, Production, Stores and operational teams

  • Perform accurate data entry and prepare reports for job management and project support

  • Assist the finance team with data entry, reporting, and general administration support

  • Prepare weekly Work in Progress (WIP) reports in collaboration with the Management Accountant

  • Support payroll and timesheet processing, including data entry and review

  • Manage banking transactions, petty cash, and reconciliations within required timeframes

  • Ensure receipting and inventory allocation is completed accurately and on time

  • Coordinate office and facility requirements, including contractors, maintenance, and equipment

  • Deliver professional reception support, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and managing correspondence

About You

  • Proven experience in an administrative role (industrial, manufacturing or workshop environment highly regarded)

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills

  • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and business systems (ERP experience advantageous)

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
