Finance Manager | Residential Construction | Hunter Region 

Our client is a well-established construction business specialising in commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects across NSW. With a strong pipeline of work and continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function and support the business's strategic objectives.

The Role

Reporting to senior leadership, the Finance Manager will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business while providing commercial support across multiple construction projects.
Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Project financial analysis and feasibility assessments
• Monitoring project budgets, costs, and profitability
• Board and stakeholder reporting
• Management and development of finance staff
• Tax, compliance, and audit coordination
• Driving financial process improvements and controls

About You

• CA/CPA qualified
• Previous Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant experience
• Experience within construction, property, engineering, or project-based industries
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced financial reporting and analytical capabilities
