As part of our continued growth and expansion, we are seeking a Finance Officer to join our supportive and collaborative team.
As our Finance Officer, you will provide direct administrative support to the finance team in delivering key financial services. You will be responsible for administering accounts payable and receivable, bank account reconciliation, supporting payroll and assisting in the preparation of month-end accounts and other associated account reporting as well as contributing to the continuous improvement and procedural documentation of financial accounting systems and transactional procedures, assisting the Finance Manager with other project-related activities relating to systems upgrade and process changes.
You are a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional with experience across accounts payable, receivable, and payroll. You have strong analytical skills, excellent time management, and are confident using accounting systems and Microsoft Office. You communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and bring a flexible, can-do attitude to a fast-paced environment
Knowledge and experience in end-to-end administration of accounts payables, receivables and payroll
Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or Commerce (or working towards) with experience in a similar role
Solid understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, cash flow and internal controls
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in cloud accounting software and Microsoft office.
Strong attention to detail and excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Great communication skills, both verbal and written, and a team-focused mindset
A flexible, can-do attitude with the ability to prioritise tasks
Experience in a health services, clinical trials, or medical research environment
Familiarity with process improvement or system implementation initiatives
