Lindbeck Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team.
We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running from a technical perspective, but just as importantly, someone who is the right fit for our team, our clients and our culture.
This is a full-time, office-based position for a person who enjoys building client relationships, working closely with colleagues and becoming part of a business for the long term.
About the Role
You will manage a portfolio of clients across a range of industries, providing accounting, taxation and business advisory services while working closely with our directors and support team.
The role includes:
• Preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns
• Managing a portfolio of business, trust, company and SMSF clients
• BAS, IAS and GST compliance
• Client meetings and relationship management
• Tax planning and advisory work
• Liaising with the ATO and external stakeholders
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members
• Identifying opportunities to add value for clients
About You
We're looking for someone who:
• Has significant experience in Australian public practice accounting
• Can confidently manage client relationships
• Has strong knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting requirements
• Is organised, proactive and takes ownership of their work
• Enjoys working as part of a team
• Has excellent communication skills
• Is professional, approachable and client focused
Experience with major accounting software is essential, including:
• Xero
• MYOB
• QuickBooks
• Xero Practice Manager or similar
• Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with BGL Simple Fund 360 or Class Super will be highly regarded.
CA or CPA qualifications are welcomed but not essential. We are more interested in finding someone with strong practical experience, sound technical skills and the right attitude.
